Why is everyone saying I have chemistry with EVERYONE? It's kind of...less than pleasing. Kind of like saying, "Wow, you're a whore! High-fives?" in a much less subtle way. I know I said less, and I mean it. They're doing exactly what I do when I say, "Awww...you're so cute." to couples. It means that I don't like them and can't think of anything more creative to say. This is usually followed by me starting a bet ring on how long they'll last. Which is why I'm going to hell. ^__^
But anyway, this journal is going to be about the word 'forever'. Well, mostly, I'm very easily distracted. But...I'm pretty sure that there isn't anything shiney in this room. I have an overcoming urge to search the room now.
I hate the word forever, like really, I detest it. That's a word that you shouldn't be allowed to use after grade 8, because by then you should have realized that nothing lasts forever. Best friends forever, together forever, what does it all mean? Either way, it's going to end in pain, because everything ends in pain. Bwaha, the angst. But despite laughing at myself for it, I know that's the truth. No one really likes to think about it, but as soon as you start something great you're just lining yourself up for another agonizing disappointment.
Such as, there's this guy I really like, but I can't be with him because I'm so afraid of the commitment it would take. He wants a serious relationship and I literally can't get over myself, and how I don't think anything should matter, enough to let him in. Isn't that pathetic? Now, I think that's pathetic. But it's the way I've been since grade 8 (the learning year) and I'm likely to stay this way. It's an inconvenience, but there are worse things. Such as the inevitable pain. Heh, when did I become so logical?
Worst part is I know that this is no way to live because it pretty much isn't living, it's hiding. Despite knowing that, the logic does point in the opposite direction. I almost just let myself go completely on my emotions today, but I backed down. So...logic and being a total coward pretty much compound into a cynic who can't stand to admit that she's a cynic and who thinks that love's something Hollywood invented to sell movie tickets.
I think I need to clone myself, so that I may laugh at the hideous amoutn of cliche. Perhaps use it to feed some hungry emo-creatures.

Okay, so I did promise Caitlin a journal, but honestly, I've got nothing. She seems to find my angst amusing. Which just isn't nice.
But...even I find my angst amusing. Oh! I started a new book. I've really only written a page so far, so I don't know if it's going anywhere, but I like it so far. It's about a woman who writes erotica for a living, but she hits a major writer's block. So, of course, she goes to great lengths to dispell said block. Of course, a brief summary like that is a lot easier than writing 300 pages on the subject, but you know. I've given up on my last attempt, but each time I start over my writing imporves drastically. Huzza! Still though, it sucks up a lot of time. Time which recently, I don't have. Oh, the irony.
Hmm...I'm utterly stoked for May, because it means the band trip~! Which consists of at least fifty band geeks laying seige to Disney Land and a Mexican cruise ship. This is going to be EPIC. Definately journal worthy. But gah...that's so far away. I hope time passes quickly, but you know how dificult time is.
This is hard. I suck at journals, I can't even write them when no one's going to read them. Stupid...failing at life. Actually, there is a slight blib on the boy-dar, but it's nothing new. It's getting worse though, which is not so good. I'm not going to go into anymore detail about it on here, I'll just leave it at, 'I'm finding him very, very frustrating.'
See now, there's no way I could get away with something like that if I wasn't a teenager. But stereotypes have to be good for something, right? Speaking of stereotypes, mine is an Indie-prep. Just thought I'd throw that in there for no apparent reason. And no, I do not care if you hate preps. At least they don't bog down the atmosphere with mass amounts of suicide notes and eyeliner.
